Blue Ridge Summit Free Library Annual Yuletide Celebration

The Blue Ridge Summit Free Library will hold its annual Yuletide Celebration from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, on the library grounds. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Activities during the family-friendly event include fire truck rides by the Blue Ridge Summit Volunteer Fire Company; an appearance by Santa, who will hand out candy canes; and a children’s craft to create a bird feeder to take home. 

There will be a memorial tree lighting at 6:30pm in memory of Bill Coyle, Steve O’Philips, Bill Stanley and John VanDerCruyssen, all long-time supporters of the library.

Just in time for the holidays, the Blue Ridge Summit Stitchers will draw the winner for their annual quilt raffle.
