Cumberland County Preservation Roundtable

A meeting of the Cumberland County Preservation Roundtable will be held on March 12, 2025, at the Historical Society of East Pennsboro (HSEP) in Enola. The meeting will be held at 10am at the new HSEP headquarters at 50 Miller Street, Enola.

Meeting at this location will give us an opportunity to see the new facility recently erected by HSEP and to see the progress that has been made at the Enola Miller house adjacent to the new building.

There will also be updates on The Junkin House, Historic Hogestown, the Peebles Homestead, the Sheepford Road Bridge, Bishop Bridge, Heishman’s Mill, the Mt. Tabor Church, Allenberry, and others.

We will also get an update on the status of the Historic Preservation Handbook that was developed as part of the series of four Historic Preservation Workshops held last year that many of you attended. In addition, we will learn about efforts to update the list of historic properties listed in the Cumberland County Comprehensive Plan.
