EXPLORE! Metamorphosis Magic

Boy how things change…especially frogs and butterflies! Come learn all about the magic of metamorphosis. Kids will participate in some life stages yoga, go for a hike, and create a butterfly life cycle craft to take home. There will be a lot of opportunities for students to practice teamwork and cooperation, too!

This is the second in a series of six outdoor adventure programs in June and July.
Designed for kids in grades K to 5, EXPLORE! programs will run on six Thursdays, June 13, 20, 27, and July 11, 18, 25 [no session on July 4].
Session runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Pine Hill Recreation Area in Waynesboro, Pa.—a full 90 minutes of educational fun!
All program activities are outside, and each week features a different theme. Taught by educators from Buttonwood Nature Center, home of The Institute, programs include educational activities related to the season and theme. Students may attend any or all sessions.
