EXPLORE! There’s FUN in Fungus
October 21 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Designed for kids in grades K to 5, the fall EXPLORE! programs will run on four Tuesdays, October 7, 14, 21 and 28. Sessions are after school, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
All program activities are outside, and each week features a different theme. Taught by educators from Buttonwood Nature Center, home of The Institute, programs include educational activities related to the season and theme. Students may attend any or all sessions.
There’s FUN in Fungus
Explore the hidden world of fungus during this program. Participants will have the chance to get up close and personal with mushrooms under a microscope, enjoy a hike through the woods, and complete their very own mushroom craft!
