First Day Hike – Pine Grove

First Day Hike in Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Thursday 1/1/2026 @ 1 PM
Join the Friends of Pine Grove Furnace State Park and park staff in celebrating the New Year. Meet at the Fuller Lake Bathhouse, 1050 Pine Grove Road, Gardners, PA 17324 (GPS: 40.03134, -77.29975).
The route will include flat/accessible paved or gravel paths along the park’s Hiker-Biker-A.T. corridor, and other easy hiking trails if weather allows.
The total length of this easy guided hike will be around two miles with an option to drop out earlier if desired. An extended route totaling four miles will also be available according to the group’s interest, weather permitting.
Our Friends group will serve cookies and hot drinks (hot chocolate, mulled cider, and coffee).
Please dress for the weather, bring water, and wear sturdy shoes.
