#2: Terrific Tomato Tips

In the second of a series of five spring Garden Talks, gardening expert Melissa Irwin presents an in-the-garden program to help you grow healthy, flavorful tomatoes.

What’s not to love about sweet, juicy tomatoes straight from the garden? Learn everything you need to know from planting to choosing varieties to pruning, harvesting and more! Make your tomato plants the envy of the neighborhood this summer.

The Monterey Pass Battlefield Museum will be open especially for attendees of this event.

Melissa Irwin is a naturalist who has experience working with the Audubon Society and Moonfire Orchard. She holds a degree in Environmental Studies and specializes in all things growing in soil!

Participants should wear shoes appropriate for being inside the garden. Seating is not provided, but feel free to bring a chair.
