Spring Lecture Series #3–Foraging in Franklin County

Each spring, The Institute presents a series of related programs. For 2024, the lectures will be on Thursdays March 14, 21 and 28.
The unifying theme is exploring and discovering all that Franklin County, PA offers. Admission is free and all are welcome.
Presented by Dr. David Foster, Professor of Biology & Environmental Science, Messiah College
This final presentation in the series explores foraging in Franklin County. A local author and forager, Foster has more than 20 years of experience in our forests and will take us through a sensory journey of memorable plants, and discuss their ecology along with why they might be desirable to forage.
