The unusual history of Camp Michaux from colonial farm to German POW camp, and later still as a church summer camp, will be discussed by David Smith, local history author and past board member of the Cumberland County Historical Society. Join us as he brings Cumberland County history to life!
David Smith is a retired educator who served as the librarian for Cumberland County Historical Society for 11 years. He has authored a number of local history books, including the Self-guided Walking Tour of Camp Michaux, and the Babes in the Woods Story.
