Virtual Urban & Community Forestry Conference

We invite you to join us virtually along with urban and community foresters, volunteers, community leaders, and the larger network of Pennsylvania tree-people to learn, celebrate and connect! This online event will feature presentations on a variety of topics, from climate adaptation to community engagement.

“Rooted in Action: Planting the Seeds of Change” is a collaborative effort between the PA Urban & Community Forestry Council, the DCNR Bureau of Forestry, and Penn State Extension Urban Forestry to educate shade tree management staff from municipalities across the state, as well as arborists, foresters, landscape architects, businesses, and other community leaders about the links between healthy tree cover and human health and well-being.
