A South Mountain Partnership Event in Collaboration with TCO Fly Shop

The South Mountain region is a fly-fishing paradise, with famous spring-fed fishing streams and local natural resources which are central to the region’s drinking water, wildlife, and forest health. These natural resources shape our region’s unique identity & sustain the current and historical economic base. The diversity of recreational opportunities & its proximity to major population centers has positioned our region as an emerging and veritable outdoor playground. This Speakers Series event will begin with an interactive casting demonstration with Dusty Wissmath, fly fishing Instructor, Guide, and store Manager at TCO Boiling Springs. Dusty and Matt Brindle, also of TCO Boiling Springs, will discuss fish habitat and water quality issues typical of the South Mountain region.
