Assistant Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds
The York County Parks Assistant Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds is a supervisory position that reports directly to the Superintendent. This position will assist the Superintendent in the management of maintenance staff and the maintenance of 11 county parks featuring over 4,300 acres of public land and 1.425 million visitors annually. This position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the Department of Parks and Recreation, county liquid fuel bridges and general support for the County of York and assists in new construction and capital improvement projects. The Assistant Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds must ensure regulatory compliance and proper operations in all areas to create optimally safe and cost-effective department.
