n this position, you will engage in a year-long program that combines formal training with hands-on experience to develop the necessary skills for a DCNR Ranger. The training will emphasize public interaction, customer service, outdoor recreation, conservation issues, environmental education, and public safety, along with the relevant policies and regulations of the Department and the Commonwealth. During this time, you will help patrol park areas, addressing safety concerns, assisting visitors, responding to emergencies, and enforcing park and Commonwealth laws.
