In this position, your primary responsibilities will include patrolling, observing, directing, and monitoring activities at the swimming pool to ensure a safe environment for all visitors. It is essential to remain vigilant at your designated post, continuously scanning the swimming area to prevent accidents and being ready to assist in emergencies. You will need to identify swimmers who may be in distress and require help, promptly reporting any rescues, accidents, or incidents to your supervisor while calling for additional assistance as necessary. In the event of injuries, you will administer first aid, including artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, infants, and children.
