Manager of Natural Resources

The York County Parks Manager of Natural Resources is a supervisory position that reports directly to the Parks Director.  The position is responsible for: Management of natural resources (plants, wildlife, aquatic life, streams, lakes, forests and turf) and the development of improvement projects within eleven county parks with over 4,300 acres of public land/water and 1.425 million visitors annually; Management and operations of park concessions (boat livery, leases, facility rentals); Design and maintenance of a multi-use trail system featuring over 80 miles of trail.; Coordination of a park wide volunteer program which featured over 32,835 hours of service in 2016; Webmaster for parks social media pages (website, Facebook, Twitter).
