The Central Pennsylvania Conservancy launched a successful new program, the Goddard Leadership Legacy Institute, in 2013. A collaboration between CPC, Pine Grove Furnace State Park, and the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation, the Goddard Leadership Legacy Institute is a weeklong residential conservation leadership program for youth ages 13 to 15 held at the Ironmaster’s Mansion in Pine Grove Furnace State Park. This grant was designed to support the continuation of the program into a second year as the Central Pennsylvania Conservancy identifies sustainable funding sources moving forward.
