| Forest Management Plan for Mount Holly Marsh Preserve |

The 900 acre Mount Holly Marsh Preserve, owned by Cumberland County and managed in coordination with The Nature Conservancy (TNC), is located along the rocky slopes of South Mountain near the Borough of Mount Holly Springs. It consists of 700 acres of upland forest and 200 acres of marshland. Through this grant, Cumberland County and TNC will develop a conservation/forest management plan for the Preserve’s entire 900 acres.

This conservation forestry management plan will go beyond the conventional forestry management plan that typically focuses primarily on timber harvest and deliver a holistic, sustainable plan for the preserve’s long-term management. More information about the Preserve can be found here.
