Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Club
| Trindle Road Trailhead Improvements |
The Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Club collaborated with the Middlesex Township and the Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau to construct a formal parking lot along Trindle Road (Rte. 641) in Middlesex Township. This parking lot replaced an informal though frequently used (and hence often muddy) parking area, and significantly improves access to the Appalachian Trail through the Cumberland Valley. The formal parking lot now has space for eight vehicles, and is supplemented with interpretive signage and a new information kiosk.
