The Franklin County Visitors Bureau spearheaded an initiative to build a mobile phone app to enable residents and visitors to explore and experience the countless recreation and entertainment options that the South Mountain landscape has on offer. By engaging the Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau, the Gettysburg Convention and Visitors Bureau and the York County Visitors Bureau, FCVB was able to compile a mobile phone app that highlights over 75 destinations across the landscape. Further, the app highlights five pre-set thematic tours that are designed to guide visitors along themes throughout the landscape.
