Wildlife Rehabilitation Program Growth

West Shore Wildlife Center | Wildlife Rehabilitation Program Growth | 1000

The wildlife center will offer paid positions for college students and recent graduates in conservation-related fields for those that would not otherwise be able to take an unpaid position. This paid opportunity will allow a student to become involved in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation paid for at least 12 weeks, as well as allow us to expand our quality of care and number of animals served. This grant will be used in combination with the PA State Work-Study Program (SWSP) to be beneficial to both local college students and the wildlife center’s mission. The number of animals/people served through programs (including wildlife rehabilitation, over-the-phone education, and in-person education programs) are tracked through a cloud-based system.
